Readings

August 6, 2019 I’m honored to be reading again at the Pratt Library’s Library for Blind and Physically Handicapped, 415 Park Street, Baltimore, MD. This reading features winners of the Pratt Library / Little Patuxent Review Poetry Prize from the last several years. My poem, “If Mamie Till Was the Mother of God” won the prize in 2012.

October 16, 2019 at 8:00pm I’ll be on Quintessential Listening: Poetry reading poems and talking poetry with Michael Anthony Ingram. I’ll be reading from ACHE and some new poems as well.

November 7, 2019 I’m happy to return to Lancaster Catholic High School in Lancaster, PA to read and conduct a couple of poetry workshops. Thanks to Dana Kinsey, an outstanding poet who teaches at LCHS!

June 4, 2020 I’m thrilled to return to Berks Bards, a terrific reading series in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The reading takes place at The Goggleworks, 201 Washington Street, Reading, PA at 6pm. This series was run for many years by Liz Stanley. It was where I did my first reading with my first book, Meeting Bone Man. I’m thrilled to go back!

November / December 2020 My fourth book of poems, Raising King comes out in the late Fall of 2020. The launch readings are still in the works. They will be posted here as they are set.

December 4, 2020 Thanks to Doritt Carroll who coordinates the poetry readings at Zed’s Cafe, 8225 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, Maryland. I’m thrilled to return to Zed’s with Raising King. The reading begins at 6pm. Zed’s has some delicious apple pie! Join us!

January / February, 2021 Pratt Library, 400 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, Maryland. The exact date for this reading is not finalized but I’ll bring Raising King to the Pratt, a great library for poetry, in early 2021. Big Thanks to Shaileen Beyer and all on the Pratt’s Poetry Committee.

June 10, 2021 7:00pm I am thrilled to return to one of the coolest bookstores in America: Dog Star Books, 401 W. Lemon Street, Lancaster, PA. The Turning Wheel is a poetry series here curated by Eliot White. I love reading here and I look forward to bringing Raising King to this series.
